At Clay Hub, just like at Tinker, our mission is to cultivate community, connection, and creativity through the arts.
The Teaching Studio in Clay Hub is a fantastic place to learn and practice pottery! The Teaching Studio features 14 student wheels, two 8’x3’ work tables, plenty of storage space, and an awesome demo wheel with an overhead camera and screen! At Clay Hub, we run both daytime and evening classes for adults, after school classes for children and teens, a variety of hand building and wheel throwing Workshops for adults as well as Make-Together Workshops, birthday parties, private events, and more.
The Membership Studio at Clay Hub is a space for members to create in community. All levels are welcome. If you’ve taken pottery classes with us at Tinker (or equivalent elsewhere), and you feel comfortable working independently, we’d love to have you! Our membership is all inclusive: think clay, firing fees, and even weekly Office Hours with our fabulous instructors! If you’re more clay curious at this point, a class or workshop would be a better fit. But if you’ve got the bug, well, join the club!

We do not offer firing services — we recommend reaching out to Stone Leaf Pottery in Arvada.

Classes are typically divided into 3 sessions per year — Fall, Spring, and Summer. Fall and Spring run on a semester basis, and are around 16 weeks long. Fall session runs from late-August - mid-December, and Spring session runs from mid-January - mid-May. Summer Session is around 8 weeks long and typically runs early-June - early-August. Summer session is typically limited to evening adult pottery classes, while evening and daytime adult classes are offered in the Fall and Spring. Classes are offered in both wheel throwing and hand building.
We also offer 5 week Sampler Classes during our Fall and Spring Sessions. These are fantastic classes for testing the waters of your new hobby!

First of all, welcome to the first day of your life with clay… it’s better over here 😎 Next up, we have fantastic options for potters just starting out, or people curious about working in clay—both hand building and throwing on the pottery wheels. On select Saturday evenings, we offer Try-it-Out Workshops, as well as Intro to Wheel Throwing: Quick Sessions (5-ish week classes). Have a clay-inclined kid (age 7+) in your life? We’re excited to offer Make Together Workshops: adult/child workshops on select Friday afternoons!
